Artificial Insemination

 

40 of the heifers we are selling this year were artificially inseminated by one of the top selling semen bulls, Absolute.

 

Artificial insemination results in more consecutive breeding among the herd. The heifers were caught and artificially insemenated at our farm and were released back out for grazing. A few weeks later they were all checked for successful breeding and later released for natural breeding to occur.
